Choosing outfits is probably the hardest part of planning your portrait session! There are so many things to consider! Will this outfit look good on me? Will it coordinate with the other people/horses that are a part of the portrait session? Will I like how this outfit looks in my portraits?
Not to worry! I have so much content that I have written up to help you choose the perfect outfits for you! In this blog post, were looking into what style of clothing you might want to wear for your session! Are you someone that likes to wear clothing that will turn heads? Western Editorial Fashion Style is for you! If you are a proud western pleasure horse shower (is that how to say that??? IDK haha anyway!) You can wear your beautifully embroidered show outfit to your portraits! (don't forget to include all those amazing awards you have won!) But if you are someone who feels most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, casual western style is for you!

T-shirts and jeans never looked so good! There is something special about wearing clothing that you are comfortable in! It brings out your natural self! The key to a casual western outfit is jeans, and a comfortable shirt! Add some jewlery and a cowboy hat and you are good to go! Graphic Tees are great options however, try to avoid too much of a bold print! It tends to be distracting. If you see the gal in the photo below, her graphic tee is not too big, minimal colors and its toned down with the button up!

Tuxedos and ball gowns! Just add boots, a buckle and a cowboy hat and you are set for a beautiful, dreamy portrait session! Your confidence will shine through your portraits by wearing either a nicely fitting suit, or a fabulous gown! To make your portrait session day even better, hiring a makeup artist/hair stylist to get you all dolled up before your session will have you feeling extra special!
